Game Changing Initiatives


The Joliet branch of the NAACP is committed to improving the lives of African-American families and people of color.It is also committed to eliminating the racial and ethnic disparities that plague this country. Our goal is to educate, mobilize, and grow our membership, constituting a powerful grassroots civil rights movement, and energizing the nation through activism, civic engagement, and mobilizing voters at every level of the political process.


Education

We strive to ensure that all students have access to an equal and high-quality public education by eliminating education-related racial and ethnic disparities in our public schools.
